Color and Decor: Best Practices

Almost every design technique consists of a second and sometimes a third color. Often the walls, or the area of greatest square footage uses the focal color. This component serves to set the decorative tone from which all others are based upon. Focal colors can manifest as a flat or gloss color or even by a specialized technique.

The second color provides the hue for the molding, or other area that is directly less than the square footage of the walls. The way the secondary color combines with the base will speak volumes of the overall appeal and design direction of the structure.
If used, the third color will often times be the one that is used the least. It's core focus needs to be to accent both the base and accent colors equally, bringing an overall balance to the scheme.

We'll be adding to this section as our newly created web site gathers data regarding your individual needs and preferences. Please check back soon.

For a creative and pleasing touch, use more than one color and use decor to bring out accent colors!
